Hello, I’m Viki Dyke and I am a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Practitioner.  I’ve worked in a wide range of roles in the NHS, Private and Charity Healthcare, Education and Social Care over the past 18 years.

I completed my Undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Winchester in 2009 and my Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Therapy (CBT) at the University of Sussex in 2019. In 2022, I completed EMDR training and in 2023 studied CBT Supervision with the University of Birmingham.  I am fully accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

My biggest passion is working with children and neurodiverse clients. I love the challenge of adapting and individualising therapy to my clients’ needs and being creative to support them to reach their goals. I also enjoy working with parents of younger children to support the family system to work together to address presenting difficulties.

My therapeutic style is person centred and relaxed. I pride myself in being approachable and offering a safe space where my clients can be comfortable whilst delivering evidence based approaches.

I am able to offer Clinical Supervision to other CBT Therapists and I really enjoy working with my colleagues to problem solve and empower them to support their clients. As a therapist, it’s imperative that we practice the same strategies that we teach our clients and I believe in nurturing and supporting each other so we can better support our clients.

I’m currently working towards being able to offer ADHD and Autism Assessments for adults and children.

I am able to help with the following difficulties:

  • Phobias
  • Depression & Low mood
  • Low self esteem
  • Social anxiety
  • Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD)
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Trauma & PTSD
  • Health anxiety
  • Separation anxiety
  • Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

I work across the lifespan with children, adolescents and adults; specialising in adapting therapy to support neurodiverse clients. I am able to offer in person sessions at the clinic and remote sessions via video link, depending on the client’s preference and schedule.
